Vintage 1979 Zippo Plain Chrome Lighter with Side Clip & Insert For Sale

Vintage 1979 Zippo windproof lighter in plain silver-tone chrome with an attached triangular side clip. Both broad faces are undecorated, giving this Zippo lighter with side clip a simple appearance for a vintage lighter collection. The base carries the script Zippo logo and Bradford, PA marking. Scratches, scuffs, dull patches and edge wear are visible on the case. The removable Zippo-marked insert has surface discoloration, dark chimney deposits and a stained felt pad; its wheel, cam, wick and bottom screw are pictured. Fuel and function have not been tested, so ignition and operation are not guaranteed. The side attachment is not verified as factory original or load-tested.
