Vintage 1980 Zippo Plain Chrome Lighter Front Finish Loss For Sale

Vintage 1980 Zippo windproof lighter in plain silver-tone chrome with its photographed removable Zippo-marked insert. A dark rough patch and localized finish loss on the front are the main distinguishing condition features; the reverse is undecorated. Scratches, scuffs and wear are also visible across the case. The base has a block-style Zippo logo and Bradford, PA lettering. The insert shows surface discoloration, a visible wick and a stained felt pad with its bottom screw present. This lighter needs a flint. Fuel and function have not been tested, so it is not represented as a working lighter or as needing only a flint to operate. A worn example for a vintage Zippo collection. Includes one lighter with the pictured insert; no box or other accessories are shown.
