This is a vintage 1984, 1989 Sanrio Zashikibuta mint green metal tin case manufactured in Japan.
The tin features a pig illustrated character named Zashikibuta. The top of the lid features Zashikibuta with an ice cream with the statement: What’s this? Just one scoop?
The back of the tin features Zashikibuta with the dropped ice cream with the statement: There’s no use crying over spilled milk… But THIS is ICE CREAM. Whaaa!
The inside of the tin is pink.
The closing metal latch works great as well as the top metal handle. The hinges are all intact and working very well.
The inside looks pretty good. The outside of the tin has scratches, and the corners have some rusted edges. The front metal clasp also has some rust from its age.
Was designed to store small items, trinkets, accessories etc…
The tin has been kept in storage for a long time. Cute tin from the 80’s that would be cute for decoration, or for current use.
