Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage 1984 Russian Fedoskino lacquer trinket box.
This exquisite miniature piece features a hand-painted scene depicting a traditional
fairytale maiden or princess in a shimmering white and gold gown, standing before a
landscape filled with golden castle domes and sailing ladias (traditional ships).
Crafted in the historic village of Fedoskino, this box utilizes the classic oil-painting
technique over a shimmering underlayer, providing an incredible depth and luminescence
when caught in the light
The bottom edge of the artwork is hand-inscribed in gold Cyrillic script:
- Left: "Федоскино" (Fedoskino)
- Middle: "84" (Production year 1984)
- Right: "Журавлева" (Artist's signature: Zhuravleva)
Pre-owned in excellent vintage condition. The lacquer maintains a deep, high-gloss shine.
No major cracks, chips, or restoration. Minor shelf wear on the base consistent with age.
