This is an authentic vintage The Vaudeville Duo metal tin pencil case manufactured in Japan for Sanrio by the classic stationery company Colleen. The front lid showcases a vibrant bright red background enclosed by an elegant gold and black geometric theater border. The back of the case features a clean solid bright red matte finish centered with full color illustrations of the two blonde characters holding a banner that reveals their names Eddy and Emmy.

The back surface displays the official manufacturer and licensing details including a printed Sanrio logo, copyright date lines from 1983 and 1984, the classic Colleen Pencil Co., Ltd. brand mark, product code KP350-VA, and the original 350 yen retail price mark. On the left side, the Japanese text reads Planning by Sanrio Co., Ltd. Made in Japan.
