A beautiful, authentic piece of vintage Indonesian folk art. This lidded earthenware jar was handcrafted by the Sasak people of Lombok Island, Indonesia. It features a gorgeous burnished, multi-tone dark slip finish accented by geometric triangle details around the rim.The base retains its original inventory label dated 30 May 1995, noting the style \"Pemotengan: Mini,\" alongside an authentic \"Sasak Pottery Earthenware\" seal. It is also physically stamped into the clay with the artisan maker\'s mark \"KU\".Some have told me this is used for cannabis as well.Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or structural repairs. As a piece of authentic pit-fired earthenware, it features natural color variations and firing characteristics unique to traditional hand-thrown tribal pottery.
