Vintage 48-star United States flag, approximately 3’ x 5’, cotton bunting construction.
This is a quality sewn flag from the 48-star era (official 1912–1959). It dates to the World War II / Korean War period. The blue canton has 48 white stars arranged in six rows of eight. Stars are individually applied/sewn. Stripes are separately pieced and stitched (not printed). White canvas hoist with two brass grommets.

Dettra (Dettras Flag Products, Oaks, PA) was one of the major U.S. flag makers of the mid-20th century. Annin later acquired the Bull Dog name.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The flag shows expected age:
• Discoloration and staining on the white stripes (see close-up photos)
• Fold creases from storage
• Some light wear to fabric and star edges
• Colors remain strong
• Construction is solid with no major damage
This is a real period flag, not a modern reproduction. Great for display, framing, collecting, or patriotic décor.
