Vintage 5-Watt Single-Ended Tube Guitar Amp Project - Heavy Duty Parts & Chassis:
$60.00

Up for sale is a unique, vintage point-to-point 5-watt tube amplifier conversion project. This was built using a robust 1940s Westinghouse Electric Corp. radio chassis (corresponding to chassis series V-2102-3 / V-2102-5 from models like the H-104 / H-105).Due to a recent job change and a lack of spare time, I am letting this project go to someone who can cross the finish line.Current Status & Performance:This is a 5-Watt Single-Ended Class A design layout.I have successfully gotten a little bit of sound out of it in the past, but it is currently unfinished and will require troubleshooting, circuit tracing, and final dialing-in.Tube Condition Note: The vacuum tubes are completely untested and unverified. While they previously powered up, I cannot guarantee their current working condition. The entire unit is being sold strictly as-is for parts, repair, or a complete rebuild project.Hardware & Components Already Installed:Upgraded Output Transformer: Features a premium, modern Musical Power Supplies Inc. OT8SE+ single-ended output transformer mounted on top (rated up to 8W).Chassis Layout: Handwritten markers on the chassis code it for a 6V6 power tube, 6SF7, and 5U4G configuration.Controls & Pots: Front-facing controls for Volume and Gain/Tone are already wired up.Power Hardware: Heavy-duty toggle power switch, safety fuse holder, and standard 3-prong grounded power cable are fully installed.Connections: Input and Output jacks are already mounted and wired to the chassis.Documentation: Includes a printout of the original vintage Westinghouse bottom-view wiring schematics to aid your restoration or circuit tracing. Please review the photos carefully to see the point-to-point wiring layout and overall chassis condition. This is an awesome head-start for anyone into DIY tube guitar amplifiers or boutique audio builds. You are completely set to copy and paste this right into ! Do you need help with anything else before you post the listing?
