Vintage 6.75\" Swiss Cowbell Signed Berger Bärau Heavy Cast Bronze Leather Strap For Sale

This bell was a gift to my step father who was a minister of music at his church. They did many tours in Europe and the Swiss area. The bell is a Berger made in the town of Barau. It measures 6 3/4 inches across. There is some slight cracking of the leather closest to the bell. Please see the pictures.
It has only been a decorative piece.The upper portion of the outside of the bell, where there are pictures embossed, is more of a rough brass, while down by the edge of the bell it is smooth and almost polished. The inside is more rough and unfinished as seen in the pictures. The clapper ball is brass, at least in appearance, and the stem appears to be steel. The bathroom scale weighs it at 6.2 pounds. The bell is beautifully made and would be a wonderful addition to any collection or display. Please ask any and all questions prior to offerding. Buyer pays shipping.
