This Vintage 80s Vietnam-Style US Army USGI Snap Link D-Ring Carabiner is in good, clean condition overall and only shows mild signs of age, service and storage.
The carabiner is clearly marked "US" as well as "AMF 81." The lock spring is strong and all hardware functions exactly as you would expect. Of interest, this snap link is the same style that was used in Vietnam and the only real difference between original examples and those produced later are the manufacturer and date stamps.
