Vintage Amber Art Glass Flowers Wired Floral Stems 1960s 1970s Mid Century Decor For Sale

Unusual vintage collection of hand-worked amber art glass flowers and leaves mounted on dark wrapped wire stems. The group includes several different flower forms, buds and individually formed leaves in shades of honey amber and deeper brown.

The glass shows the irregular shaping, bubbles and tooling associated with hand-worked glass. Each floral branch is constructed around a flexible wire framework that has been wrapped in dark material. This appears to be part of the original construction rather than a later repair.

Similar wired art glass flowers were used in mid-century decorative floral arrangements and lighting, including Italian glass flower lamps and chandelier arrangements. The exact maker and country of origin of this set have not been identified, so they are being offered as unattributed vintage art glass.

Likely circa 1960s–1970s.

Individual stems measure approximately 9–11 in. long, with some variation due to the shape and bend of the wire stems.

Good vintage condition with age-related wear to the wrapped stems and natural irregularities within the handmade glass. The flowers have been left exactly as found and the stems have not been unwrapped or altered.
