This very rare Vintage Antique McCabe Silversmiths Sterling Silver, 10 Karat Gold and Red Gems Complete 3 Piece Texas Ranger Belt Buckle Set is a unique and handmade piece created by McCabe Silversmiths in the United States. The set is being offered in true vintage and as-worn condition with no cleaning or polishing. The buckle pieces have developed a naturally aged patina over the 60 to 70 years since it was made. The set is fully functional and can easily be removed from the old original belt it is still attached to and placed on the belt of your choice. Of course, the entire set can also be cleaned & polished to look like new again if you’d like, but we wanted to let you make that decision because this very old set could qualify as an antique and is certainly a rare McCabe issue.
The old leather belt is a Porter’s from Phoenix, Arizona and it shows a lot of wear from use. The belt measures 34 1/2” from tip to tip, including the buckle pieces. It is 1 1/4” wide in its midsections and tapered to about 3/4” wide at the main buckle end and 5/8” wide at the tip end. The main McCabe buckle measures 1 5/8” x 1 1/2” and has an opening to be used with belts up to 3/4” wide. It was monogram engraved with the initials “A.M.L.” The keeper has a 3/4” opening and the tip or end piece has a 5/8” opening. Shipping USPS ground advantage package, insured.
