Up for sale is an authentic, Sargent 648A steel skeleton key. This is a genuine antique bit-and-barrel key manufactured for historic interior mortise locks.

**Condition:**

* **Original Patina:** Left completely uncleaned to preserve its authentic, aged historical finish.

* **Markings:** Clearly stamped \"SARGENT\" on one side of the bow and what we are 90% sure is \"648A\" on the bottom arc of the bow.

* **Structure:** Solid steel construction. The bit and barrel are intact with no major warping or structurally damaging rust.
