This mid-century piece appears to be a vintage Bischoff art glass handkerchief bowl/vase, recognizable by its unique amberina gradient (transitioning from a fiery orange base to deep red tips) and its distinctive, organically draped folds.Originally popularized in Murano, Italy, during the late 1930s, the "handkerchief" style was created by letting molten glass slump over a mold to mimic the casual, elegant folds of a dropped piece of cloth.
