Vintage Westmoreland dark blue mist/frosted satin finish glass pedestal compote with Doric (open lace) pattern. This is a beautiful vintage Westmoreland glass pedestal compote. The pattern is called Doric (open lace). The color is a "dark blue mist". The compote features a frosted satin finish. These pieces were produced around the mid 20th century from the 1940's-1960's. It's a great example of mid century American glass. The design features an open reticulated lattice rim with a geometric openwork stem and a matching scalloped cut out base. Makes a stunning centerpiece for a dining table. Also great for fruit or serving candies and nuts at a party.It measures 9.5" in diameter by 7" tall.
