Vintage Bower Mfg. Co. lift-arm trench-style pocket lighter with a cylindrical brass/gold-tone metal body, flint wheel and vented sliding outer sleeve. The sleeve is engraved with a flame above a shield containing a star, diagonal band and stripes. A suspension ring is attached at the base; the ring has a visible gap. Open and closed views show the lift-arm/snuffer arrangement. The metal has scratches, patina, dark spotting and uneven finish wear.
