Up for sale is a vintage solid cast brass statue depicting Goddess Green Tara (Syamatara), the Buddhist Bodhisattva of compassion and swift protection.
The bottom of the figure features a traditional sealed copper base plate.
Visvavajra Emblem: Stamped clearly into the center of the copper plate is the Double Vajra (Visvavajra / Crossed Vajra). In Tibetan and Buddhist tradition, the double vajra represents absolute stability, protection, and the spiritual seal of consecration.

This piece is cast in India and retains its original maker/export label on the back base reading "Made in India". It features classic iconography, intricate casting detail, and an attractive dark antiqued finish with natural brass highlights.
Key Iconographic Details:
Posture: Seated in Lalitasana (royal ease) on a double-lotus pedestal base, with her right foot lowered onto a small lotus blossom.
Mudras (Gestures): Her right hand is extended downwards in the Varada Mudra (boon-granting/compassion gesture) resting over her right knee. Her left hand is raised at chest level in Vitarka/Refuge Mudra, holding the stem of a lotus blossom.
Adornment: Detailed crown/tiara, necklace, armlets, third-eye marking, and flowing drapes.
