Exquisite Offered for your consideration is this exquisite, hand-painted & rare CASTILIAN BRONZE/BRASS & PORCELAIN/ENAMEL BIRD & FLORAL MOTIF TRAY including two molded bronze/brass handles and four Swan figures (2.5\" x 3\") on outer edge, as well as gold detailing around the entire edge. This magnificent Castilian tray has been decorated with an expansive floral and bird design executed in shades of cream, light green, gold, taupe and light blue on a black background with a craquelure finish, and have been painted with enamels, giving them a slight bas relief effect. The tray has canted walls which stand approx. 1.3 \" high and have been painted with a dark gold leaf pattern to complement the central design.This magnificent tray is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks or repairs and measures approx. 24 inches long (from handle to handle) by 16\" wide and weighs a substantial 12.10 pounds (unpacked). The bottom which has some cosmetic wear, appropriate to its vintage, but not visible when displayed, bears the red Castilian Don Quixote mark reading \"CASTILIAN\" and \'NOT FOR FOOD PURPOSE - FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY\" along with a rectangular sticker reading \"Item No. 3732-TB\" This elegant Castilian Tray displays beautifully and makes a statement on a coffee table or counter.
