Vintage carved meerschaum estate tobacco pipe featuring an intricate lattice / honeycomb-style carved bowl, long curved translucent amber-colored stem, and its fitted hard case.
This is a very lightweight pipe with detailed openwork-style carving throughout the bowl. The long translucent yellow/orange stem has attractive internal swirling and variation visible under normal and UV lighting.
The stem material has NOT been professionally authenticated as natural amber and is therefore being described as amber-colored. Please review the close-up and UV-light photographs and make your own assessment.
The pipe measures approximately 6 inches overall and comes with the fitted case shown in the photographs.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned estate condition. There is visible loss/chipping to portions of the delicate lattice carving, particularly around the lower portion of the bowl. The stem shows age/use and the mouthpiece end has wear. The fitted case also shows age and exterior/interior wear. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.

Pipe and case are being sold exactly as pictured. I have intentionally not aggressively cleaned or polished the pipe in order to preserve its existing vintage condition and patina.
