Beautiful vintage carved wooden jewelry or trinket box featuring an intricate floral and geometric design across the lid with both brass inlay and contrasting wood inlay accents.
The box measures approximately 6” long x 4” wide x 2-1/4” tall and includes a brass-tone front latch with matching hinges.
The interior is lined with deep red velvet on the bottom and inside of the lid, making it ideal for jewelry, keepsakes, small collectibles, or decorative storage.
Preowned and in very nice condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, or other major issues noted. Light surface wear is present consistent with age and previous use. The latch and hinges function properly. No maker’s mark or country-of-origin marking was found.
The combination of dense hand carving, brass inlay, wood inlay, rich wood grain, and velvet lining gives this box a more detailed and decorative presentation than many simpler carved wood boxes.
