This beautiful mid-century ceramic leaf dish features an elongated, wavy pod shape with a dual-tone finish: a rich, chocolate brown exterior paired with a smooth cream/tan interior face. The piece is completely unmarked on the bottom, which is a common manufacturing variation for early art pottery lines where molds were not yet stamped or glazes filled in the impressions. However, it is strongly attributed to Frankoma Pottery's historic mold #225 as it perfectly mirrors their iconic design. The unglazed foot ring displays the distinct off-white, light-tan clay color characteristic of vintage Ada, Oklahoma clay used before 1955.
