You are buying a vintage ceramic plate that depicts the Sycamor Street Covered Bridge (1846 - 1888) in Logansport, Indiana. This plate measures about 9 5/8 inches tall by 12 inches wide and is signed \"mia\" on both the front and back. I am not sure when this was made but I do know that \"Sycamore\" is misspelled as \"Sycamor\" and the street does not cross the Eel river anymore.
The Scene: The central illustration features a sepia-toned, hand-drawn sketch of a classic wooden covered bridge traversing a local waterway.
Inscriptions: The bottom text reads \"1846 Sycamore Street Bridge 1888\" along with the city name \"Logansport\", tracking the historical lifespan of the original structure.
Artistic Details: It features a decorative brown border accented with leaf/slash patterns in the corners, and is signed by the artist, \"mia\", near the bridge entrance.
This ceramic plate weighs about 3 1/2 pounds and does have some minor chips in the glaze around rim.
