Charming miniature vintage Chinese cloisonné trinket box featuring pink peony flowers, green foliage and a small red butterfly against a beautiful turquoise-blue enamel background.The floral design is outlined in traditional gold-tone metal cloisonné wire. The sides are decorated with deep cobalt-blue scalloped borders and repeating cloud-like motifs, while the interior and bottom are finished in rich blue enamel.This small box was likely made in China for the export market during the latter half of the 20th century, probably around the 1970s–1980s.Approximate measurements:

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the metal edges. The enamel retains attractive, vibrant color. There are small imperfections and signs of age/use consistent with a handmade vintage cloisonné piece. Please review all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.A lovely little piece for a cloisonné collection, Asian décor collection, or for holding a ring, earrings or another tiny treasure.
