This distinctive, spherical piece features vibrant Famille Rose style hand-decorated enamels framed by unique molded, raised vertical panels shaped like green bamboo stalks with gold gilt highlights. Inside the bamboo framing are detailed, colorful miniature scenes depicting perched songbirds, butterflies, pink lotus blossoms, and assorted garden flowers.
