Vintage Chinese Jingdezhen porcelain tea or wine cup featuring a pale celadon-toned glaze with underglaze blue decoration.
The interior depicts a traditional aquatic scene with a shrimp or prawn among lotus plants. The exterior has subtle floral decoration, cobalt-blue geometric borders, and an iron-brown accented rim.
The base bears a four-character underglaze blue mark reading 景德鎮製 (Jingdezhen Zhi), meaning “Made in piece comes from a long-held family collection in Thailand and previously belonged to the seller’s grandfather. The family believes it may be approximately 100 years old or more. However, the exact production date has not been professionally authenticated, so it is listed with age unknown.
