Beautiful vintage Corning Ware Blue Cornflower 2½-quart cookware in exceptionally well-preserved, apparently unused condition.
This is model P-2½-B, the classic white Corning Ware dish decorated with the iconic blue Cornflower design. The bottom is marked CORNING WARE – P-2½-B – 2½ QT. – MADE IN U.S.A.
What makes this example particularly desirable is how complete it has remained. It includes the original blue Corning Ware retail box, clear glass cover/lid, original Styrofoam packing pieces, and the original Corning Ware cooking-instruction sticker still attached inside the dish. The box also retains its original $6.95 retail price marking.
The dish appears unused. The interior is exceptionally clean and the original instruction label remains in place. Please examine all photographs for condition.
The original cardboard box shows expected age/storage wear, including creasing, edge/corner wear, tape/residue and wear to the end flap. I would not repair, tape, clean or otherwise alter the box, as the original packaging is part of the collectible appeal.
