This is a vintage 1920's frosted glass car ornament and/or added to mainly ashtrays. The piece is known as "Goddess of Smoke" or "The Daughter" produced by Corning Glass Works. This item depicts a woman's head with wind-blown flowing hair in frosted opaque glass, styled in the Art Deco tradition reminiscent of Lalique. Originally designed to fit onto a specialized ashtray base or adapt to a vehicle radiator cap. Measurements are 4 3/4" from chin to hair ends and about 3 1/4" vertically. The condition is VERY GOOD!
