Vintage sculptural face wall hanging made from a dark chocolate-brown clay or ceramic material with a matte finish.
The mask features a dimensional male face with hand-worked details including textured hair, brows and mustache, deeply modeled eyes, nose and lips, and a rich dark brown to chocolate-brown surface with warmer reddish-brown highlights visible under light.
The reverse is hollow with a simple wire loop for wall display.
The design has a strong African-inspired / Africanist folk-art aesthetic, although the exact country of origin and maker are unknown, so no specific cultural attribution is being made.
