This is an authentic, beautifully handcrafted Bornean Dayak tribal blowpipe dart quiver (traditionally known as a "Tolor"). A wonderful piece of ethnographic folk art, it showcases a rich native patina and intricate traditional fiber bindings.Set Details & Dimensions:
- 1 Bamboo Quiver Tube: Approx. 20.75" Length (with lid closed), 2" Diameter. Features beautifully woven, plaited rattan bands wrapping the rim/base and a tightly braided rattan shoulder loop.
- 1 Fitted Bamboo Cap Lid: Accented with protective rattan trim.
- 7 Slender Metal-Tip Blowgun Darts: Fitted with tapered bamboo/wood butts.
- 2 Segmented Inner Bamboo Rods: Traditional interior accessory dart sleeves (one featuring a woven rattan grip wrapper).

This is an authentic, older tribal piece and is naturally delicate/brittle due to age.
- Mechanics: The bamboo lid fits beautifully and closes FULLY and securely when the 2 inner accessory sleeves and 7 small blowgun darts are stored inside.
- Structural Flaws: Features a clean, natural hairline age split running vertically along the bamboo body following the natural grain. Additionally, a section of the decorative rattan vine wrapping on the exterior has come uncoiled/unwound, though the strand remains intact.
