Vintage western curb bit featuring a jointed low-port mouthpiece with copper-wrapped sections and forged iron construction. Stamped "37" on the cheek with no other maker marks found. Appears to be a Dutton.Moves fluid in all directions it should.Nice aged patina throughout with good eye appeal.The jointed low-port design offers tongue relief and independent side movement, while the copper wraps encourage salivation. A quality old ranch-style bit that displays well and would make a great addition to any western tack collection.
