Beautiful vintage Evans powder compact featuring a rich cobalt-blue enamel exterior accented with silver-tone trim and a delicate raised floral ornament. The softly squared case opens to reveal the original vanity-style interior with hinged mirror, powder compartment and soft powder puff. Beneath the removable powder insert, the metal case is clearly stamped EVANS. The compact also includes its black fabric protective sleeve. Measuring approximately 2.5” across, this petite vanity accessory has wonderful period character and makes an attractive addition to a vintage compact, vanity or dressing-table collection.

Pre-owned vintage condition with visible age and use wear. The blue enamel exterior shows fine crazing, scratches, scuffs and small areas of finish loss, particularly around the edges. Silver-tone metal has age-related wear and tarnish. Interior retains powder residue and cosmetic wear, and the powder puff shows age/use wear. Black fabric sleeve has visible wear and marks.
