Pre-owned vintage set. Complete with all 12 original colors. Six pencils remain unused/unsharpened, while six have been sharpened and used to varying degrees. Original folding box/display has noticeable age and storage wear including scuffs, edge and corner wear, creasing and areas of paper loss. Vintage Faber-Castell SPECTRACOLOR “The Designer Pencil System” 12 Color Set – No. 1400-12
Original vintage Faber-Castell Spectracolor artist colored pencil set in its distinctive folding display/easel-style package.
Complete set of all 12 colors:

* 1405 Purple
* 1406 Black
* 1407 Indigo Blue
* 1408 True Blue
* 1409 Grass Green
* 1410 True Green

* 1412 Orange
Pencil condition: Six of the twelve pencils remain unused and unsharpened. The remaining six have been sharpened and used to varying degrees. Please refer to the photographs for the exact lengths and condition of each pencil.
The original packaging identifies these as Spectracolor artist-quality colors and describes the pencils as having strong, thick-diameter leads, smooth coverage, long-lasting points, and waterproof/non-fading color.

The original folding package remains with the set and displays the colorful period SPECTRACOLOR graphics. It shows considerable vintage storage and handling wear, including rubbing, scuffs, worn edges/corners, creasing and paper loss. The original $5.15 price sticker remains attached.
A nice surviving complete example of the discontinued Faber-Castell Spectracolor line, especially with half of the pencils still unused/unsharpened.
