New old stock complete case of 24 vintage Falls City Beer factory air-filled display cans with no beer or other liquid inside. Cans were manufactured as unopened display cans and remain in excellent overall condition for their age. The original cardboard case is present, but the paper covering has been removed from the top, leaving the cans exposed. The case contains multiple can-top variations, including three different lid/tab configurations, with one can featuring an older removable ring-pull style tab. Cans may show minor age-related storage or cosmetic wear. Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition, can-top variations, and original case.
Vintage Falls City Beer complete 24-can case of factory air-filled promotional/display cans from Falls City Brewing Company of Louisville, Kentucky, with no beer or other liquid inside. These are new old stock display cans that were manufactured empty and air-filled rather than ordinary beer cans that were consumed and later emptied, and the cans remain unopened and in excellent overall condition for their age. The original cardboard case is still present, although the paper covering has been removed from the top and the cans are now exposed. An especially interesting feature of this case is the presence of three different can-top/lid configurations among the 24 cans, including one example with the older removable ring-pull tab and others with stay-on-tab designs similar to those used on modern beverage cans. That variation has particular historical interest because Louisville's Falls City Brewing Company played a notable role in beverage-can history: removable pull tabs dominated beer cans during the 1960s and early 1970s, while Falls City Beer was used in 1975 for the first commercial test of the Sta-Tab, the stay-attached opening system that helped lead to the modern beverage-can tab. Falls City itself was a historic Louisville brewery, making this original case appealing not only as vintage breweriana but also as Kentucky and Louisville advertising, brewery, packaging, and beverage-can history. All 24 factory air-filled cans remain together in the original case, and the different top variations are shown in the photographs. Cans contain no liquid or alcohol and are sold strictly as vintage collectible/display pieces. Please review all photos for exact condition, case wear, and the individual can-top variations.Welcome toBestCellarsList! We specialize in sourcing unique vintage items, nostalgic toys, rare collectibles, and one-of-a-kind treasures from our curated trove.
