This is a vintage collection of three Federal Products dial indicators in three different dial sizes and measurement ranges. These dial indicators are precision tools used to measure small variations in surfaces, alignment, and dimensional tolerances in machining, manufacturing, and mechanical applications. They can be fixtured for reading tolerance repeatability, runouts, or machine movements for example. These are high precision measuring gages featuring a full jeweled movement for smooth dial movement and extreme accuracy, and have features such as a green tinted dial for easier reading.
These indicators of 1980\'s vintage and of the highest quality. They are handy to have and will complement any tool collection for everyday machinist/toolmaking use, or the hobby machinist, or the collector. Also included are spare indicator tips and a special purpose Federal Products factory tap. These items have been in storage for over 25 years and except where noted below, are sold ready to use.

- C8IS 2 1/4\" dial face with .001\" graduations x .100\"/revolution x 1\" travel with revolution counter. Factory standard point included. It comes with two lug style back mounts- one vertical, and one horizontal. Item is in very good condition and clean with no rust. Action is smooth throughout the full range of travel. Very slight wear with minor pitting on crystal face but doesn\'t impede lens clarity. Initials are engraved in right side of body.
- B7O 1 5/8\" dial face with .001 graduations x .050\"/revolution AGD balanced dial (+/-.025\") x .150\" travel with revolution counter. Factory standard point included. Item is in good condition and clean with no rust, but shows signs of use- see photos. Initials are engraved in right side of body. Please note-- Plunger travel has a binding point around +.002\" past top center at each revolution. It only does this when held face up or vertical. Travel is smooth through full range when held face down. There is potential for full disassembly to correct.
-A6Q 1\" dial face with .001\" graduations x .040\"/revolution AGD balanced dial (+/-.020) x .100\" travel. Factory standard point included. Very good condition with slight use and clean. Action is smooth throughout the full range of travel. Initials are engraved in right side of body. Original factory box is included.
