Vintage Homer Laughlin Fiesta Covered Onion Soup Bowl – Original Ivory – 1936–1937
Beautiful and scarce vintage Fiesta covered onion soup bowl in Ivory, complete with its original fitted lid.
The covered onion soup is one of the harder-to-find pieces from the early Fiesta line and was produced for only a short period. This example has the rounded interior bottom/unmarked variation and the distinctive applied scroll handles.
Approximate measurements:
* 6 1/8” handle to handle
* 4 1/2” tall with lid
* 2 7/16” foot
Condition: Very nice vintage condition for its age. Both handles and the lid finial are intact. No obvious chips, cracks or repairs observed. There is expected age/use wear, including discoloration/soiling around the unglazed foot and minor glaze/factory imperfections. Please examine all photographs closely, as they are part of the condition description.
This is authentic vintage Fiesta, not a modern reproduction.
A wonderful piece for an advanced Fiesta/Fiestaware collection and an especially difficult form to find complete with its lid.
