Neat, Vintage Fountain / Ice Cream Counter Commercial Cone Dispenser.
Vintage "Flare-Top Eat-It-All" Fountain Ice Cream Cone Dispenser, Light Untested (Because Cord Was Cut)
IMPORTANT: The display/dispenser features an electric light that illuminates the front plastic sign. I purchased the piece with the light cord cut, presumably because the cord must have been frayed. To be 100% clear...the light is untested because the cord needs replacing. That will be the buyer's responsibility.
This is such a cool piece and it is quite rare. It would have sat on the back counter of a soda / ice cream fountain and on top would have been a cardboard box filled with ice cream cones that fit into the top of the dispenser.
It is a VERY eye catching piece. I do not know the date of manufacture, but internet research indicates the 1950's to 1960's. That makes sense because the logo on back shows a "Chicago 9, ILL" address. Five digit zip codes were mandatory in the 1960's, so that would indicate that the dispenser is from the 1950's or maybe very early 1960's because of the one digit postal zone not a 5 digit zip code.
Condition is very good for its age. It is a great soda fountain collectible / display piece that after a little cleaning should display very well. I did NOT clean up the piece for fear of doing more damage than good. I gently wiped it with a damp paper towel to remove dust.
The piece measures approximately 14.25" high by 8.5" by 7.5".
I took pictures outside on a sunny day. I honestly believe that natural light shows the product the best. Please review all of the picturesas I hid nothing when taking them. My customers are satisfied because when you buy from me, there are no unpleasant surprises. Please ask any questions BEFORE offerding. Ships to USA only.
Will ship USPS Ground Advantage, with tracking & insurance, figured to your zip code. NOTE: The box is large and weighs nearly 6 lbs., so shipping might be expensive. FREE Local Pick Up Is An Option, if that works for you.I doNOTmark up shipping NOR do I charge a handling fee.
I do combine shipping on multiple purchases, when possible, but you have to ask.
I give positive response after I receive it. That way I know that you are 100% satisfied and that our transaction is complete.
