Vintage French copper oval casserole / cocotte with matching copper lid and brass handles, stamped “MADE IN FRANCE.” This is a substantial, beautifully made piece weighing approximately 4 lb 15.8 oz. Features a warm copper exterior, silver-tone lined interior, riveted brass side handles, and matching fitted lid with brass handle. Good vintage condition with authentic age and use wear. Copper exterior and lid show considerable natural patina, oxidation, spotting, scratches, discoloration, and areas of tarnish, giving the piece a wonderful old French kitchen character. Interior is considerably cleaner with normal light wear. Brass handles show age-related patina. Stamped MADE IN FRANCE.
