Vintage Italian hand-painted figurine signed “G. Barretto” and identified on the original guarantee tag as Item No. 323.
This expressive character sculpture depicts a barefoot young man standing beside a tree while holding a closed green umbrella. He wears a soft green shirt and rolled brown trousers and is posed looking upward, giving the piece a distinctive storytelling quality.
The porcelain/ceramic figure is mounted on its original turned wooden display base with original Made in Italy label.
The sculpture is signed “G. Barretto” on the front of the integral base and also bears an Italian crowned-N style mark. Included is the original Certificato di Garanzia / guarantee tag, marked:
