Authentic, Vintage Greenfield Tap & Die Corporation (GTD) \"Little Giant\" No. 5 Screw Plate Tap and Die Set. Made in Greenfield, Massachusetts, USA.

This is a high-quality, heavy-duty machinist tool set housed in its original wooden organizer box. The wooden box features beautiful original branding on the outer lid and a well-preserved red paper instruction and sizing label on the inside of the lid.

Condition Notes:

Metal Condition: The tools are in excellent mechanical condition. The metal surfaces show only light cosmetic oxidation/patina appropriate for their age, with no heavy pitting.

Cutting Edges: The internal cutting threads (\"teeth\") inside the adjustable dies and on the remaining taps are sharp, clean, and free of major chips or stripped grooves (see close-up photos).

Box Condition: The wood box is structurally sound. The interior organizer blocks are fully intact. Please see pictures of back of box. This doesnt effect the sturdiness of the box at all. (Idk if it\'s supposed to be like that or not) Also, the box has two hook latches in front that function properly

Completeness (Incomplete Set): Please note that this set is missing two taps. It includes both handles and all 7 adjustable die/collet assemblies, but only 5 of the 7 matching taps are present.

Included Dies (7 Assemblies Total): 1/4\", 5/16\", 3/8\", 7/16\", 1/2\", 5/8\", and 3/4\" (All National Coarse / NC thread pitches).

Included Taps (5 Total): 1/4 NC 20, 5/16 NC 18, 7/16 NC 14, 5/8 NC 11, and 3/4 NC 10.

Included Handles: 1x Large Die Stock Handle, 1x Small Tap Wrench.

Missing Pieces: 3/8\" Tap and 1/2\" Tap (I believe)
