Vintage Gateway of University Michigan Bookend:

No idea on the date of this. It was my grandfather\'s who started as a University of Michigan baseball star and a member of Fielding Yost\'s point a minute football team in 1903 and 1904. But then he was a co-founder and president of the M Club. So could have picked up any time there.
Looks and feels like bronze. But could also be bronze finished cast iron. Sorry, just don\'t know.
