Here is a blast from the past. Two San Francisco Bay Area papers from the 1970s. The BAR Bay Area reporter and the Advocate.
One is from 1975 and the others from 1978.
These papers document an exciting time in San Francisco. A time when AIDS did not exist. The papers are full of gay businesses and events taking place in the 70s. It was the most exciting time when people from all over the country were moving to San Francisco for freedom and a great life. One paper even has Harvey Milk’s original ad for his camera shop. Quite an interesting timeframe and very exciting if you were a young person in the 1970s coming to California to live a happy life. Great documents of a great time. 
Too many details to photograph, but I highlighted a lot. Each paper is complete nothing is missing.
