This listing is for a historical staple in the medical and research fields, a Vintage Perfektum Micro-Mate 50 cc Interchangeable Hypodermic Syringe, manufactured in Italy for Popper & Sons, Inc., New Hyde Park, New York. This was designed to be a high-quality, reusable borosilicate glass syringe system designed for precision and durability. This Micro-Mate barrel will fit any plunger of the same size, allowing parts to be replaced or swapped without needing a factory-matched pair. The syringe has a glass plunger and features a chrome-plated brass Luer-Lock tip, which allows needles to be securely attached with a simple twist. This syringe is New Old Stock that is pre-owned but has never been used, and comes with its original box. The box has a stain on the label side and has a note written on another side (“Handle with great care! ((Glass))”), which someone must not have completely followed, as there is a tiny crack at the top on one of the side finger rests by the plunger, hardly noticeable. Overall still in Very Good to Excellent Vintage Condition!
