Vintage decorative sailing ship model crafted from what appears to be natural horn, featuring beautiful translucent amber, honey and dark brown/black coloration.The ship features three masts with multiple curved sails, twisted metal wire rigging, a long sculptural hull and matching pedestal base. Natural variations in the horn give each sail a unique pattern and coloration.Measures approximately 8” wide × 8” tall.No maker’s mark found.Good vintage condition with age-related surface wear, scratches and imperfections. The delicate rigging and sails show some irregularities consistent with age and handmade construction.
