Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Noticeable loss and wear to the gold decoration, particularly around the foot/base, along with minor surface wear and small marks consistent with age. Hand-painted decoration remains colorful and attractive. Please review all photos carefully.
DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful vintage hand-painted porcelain serving bowl featuring clusters of purple and blue flowers with green leaves against a soft lavender and pale yellow background.
The bowl has two substantial gold-painted handles and extensive gold decoration around the foot. The underside is hand signed “Irene Meyers” with “41” written beneath the signature. The significance of “41” is unknown and may possibly indicate a date, but this has not been verified.
No manufacturer’s backstamp is visible, so the maker and country of origin are unknown.
A lovely signed example of vintage hand-painted porcelain and a distinctive decorative display piece.
