Vintage Italian 800 silver round hinged pill / snuff / trinket box with engraved floral scroll lid.

Small circular box, roughly 7/8–1\" diameter and about 3/8\" tall. Lid has a tight floral/scroll (acanthus-style) engraving with a reeded/milled border. Hinge works and the lid closes. Stamped inside the lid 800, MADE ITA. (Made in Italy), a small additional mark, and 33. The number 33 is also stamped in the base. Plain unadorned bottom.

Weight: 0.341 oz on the scale (~9.7 g if avoirdupois / ~10.6 g if troy). At current silver (~$64.50/oz) melt value is only about $16–18 because it is 800 fine (80% silver). Value is in the object, not the scrap.
