Vintage Italian made decorative wall art featuring a Venetian waterfront scene in an ornate oval gold tone frame. The artwork has an aged/antiqued appearance with a crackle/crazing effect across the surface, giving it an old world decorative look. The ornate Rococo/Baroque style oval frame features raised scrolling decoration with a gold tone finish. The frame/artwork are very lightweight.
There is some wear. The original patterned paper backing is worn, with some tears, areas of loss, discoloration, scuffing, and general deterioration from age and handling. There are areas where the backing paper has separated or is missing, revealing the underlying oval backing.
There is also a small crack/damage to the frame on the back extending toward the side as seen in photo 10 and 11. It does not affect the structure of the frame or the artwork, and is not noticeable when the piece is displayed.
