Lovely vintage ceramic cachepot or planter in a warm ivory-white glaze. The exterior features an embossed band of grapes, leaves and scrolling vines, along with raised botanical medallions around the lower body. A low pedestal base and softly aged neutral finish give it a classic European or French Country appearance.
The planter measures approximately 7 inches across and 5 inches tall. It does not appear to have a drainage hole, making it best suited for holding a nursery pot, dried arrangement or faux plant. It could also be used as a decorative bowl or catchall.
The underside is marked only with the handwritten number “15.” No maker’s name is present.
Good vintage condition with overall glaze crazing, interior scratches and marks, discoloration around portions of the rim, and a small area of glaze loss along the upper edge. The crazing and tonal variation give it an appealing timeworn character. No major cracks observed. Please review all photographs closely for condition and measurements.
