Charming vintage miniature Japanese ceramic pixie/elf figurine featuring a reclining figure in white with hand-painted red polka dots, pink collar, large pointed ears, rosy cheeks and long painted eyelashes.The underside is stamped JAPAN and has the original firing/vent opening.Measures approximately 2½ inches long × 1½ inches tall.Believed to date from approximately the 1940s–1950s, consistent with similar mid-century Japanese export pixie figurines. Exact manufacturer is currently unknown.Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related paint wear and small surface/manufacturing imperfections as pictured.
