Charming matching pair of vintage ceramic puppy dog salt and pepper shakers, marked Japan.These adorable mid-century shakers feature oversized painted eyes, floppy spaniel-style ears, warm orange/tan coloring, and sweet floral details. One puppy has blue flowers at the neck, while the other has a pink/red floral accent on the head.Estimated to date from approximately the 1950s–1960s.Vintage condition with age-related surface wear, discoloration and crazing. There appears to be a hairline/crack visible near the base of one shaker; please review all photos carefully for condition. Sold as a pair.
