Charming vintage Made in Japan ceramic salt and pepper shaker set featuring a storybook cottage and windmill. Colorful hand-finished details include yellow and green roofs, red chimney, greenery, windows and dimensional yellow windmill blades.Both pieces are stamped MADE IN JAPAN on the underside and retain their original cork stoppers. Approximately 2½–3” tall.Wonderful example of mid-century Japanese novelty kitchenware and a great addition to a salt & pepper collection, cottagecore kitchen, or vintage display.Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, crazing to the glaze, minor discoloration/marks and manufacturing irregularities.
